Megan honed her skills teaching English to adults, working in four countries over 12 years. Seeking a new challenge, she studied information design, then worked as a professional writer.
With her commercial experience, she understands the realities that businesses face. She has experience with businesses of all sizes and government agencies. She’s worked on everything from websites, stakeholder documents, and tenders to processes and product labels.
Megan helps participants to immediately grasp the benefit that plain language offers their bottom line. ‘I want people to feel they can apply their new knowledge immediately, and recognise the return on their investment in plain language,’ she says.
Megan works with empathy and skill, making sure everyone feels safe, understood, and acknowledged. She tailors learning to participants’ individual needs.
When Megan creates a workshop, she builds an understanding of the client’s problems and opportunities. Focusing the day on the client’s specific needs and using their own documents, she delivers workshops that are practical, relevant, and valuable.
