Claire is an Auckland-based trainer, coach, and facilitator. She earned her degree and MBA there too. Claire previously worked in marketing, communications, and organisational development for several organisations, including the Auckland Chamber of Commerce.
During training, Claire helps participants to work out what they already know and what they need to learn. Then she supports them to build on their knowledge and skills. Participants find they can easily increase the value of their work when they return to their desks.
Claire has seen plain language transform organisational culture in business, healthcare, and education. She has coached businesses on using plain language to say what they mean, do what they say, and build trust in their brands. She also does voluntary and pro bono work with start-ups, social enterprises, and not-for-profits.
‘Clear language changes the way you think about things. It makes businesses better. They become more disciplined and strengthen their integrity and transparency.’
Claire engaged us and was responsive to our questions. She made the content relevant and accessible. It was really helpful to immediately apply what we were learning. Her passion for the subject was contagious! I wish she had been my English teacher.
Claire is a lovely, knowledgeable, and engaging presenter.
Claire was so amazing and thorough. She really put all examples into an everyday perspective and encouraged discussion.
